Singapore literature, affectionately termed SingLit, is any form of literary work set in Singapore or created by Singaporeans. Exploring culture, urban life, folklore, history, and more, SingLit portrays different facets of Singapore’s society through creative lenses. It is a great way to get readers of all ages into the habit of reading since the subject matter is so close to heart and representative of our way of life. Here, we present a blend of upcoming releases and recommended titles, all infused with a local flavour that makes them uniquely Singaporean!

Writer and literary critic Carissa Foo also has an upcoming new book, Almost a Love Story ($22.78), which offers a modern take on the intricacies and complexities of human connections, viewed through a linguistic lens.
