Want to earn cash by reading books? Join the new ReadSG Campaign

Thousands of Singaporeans have already joined the bandwagon to get paid for reading. Unless you have been living under a rock, you probably already know that the National Library Board (NLB) has officially launched this exciting initiative earlier this month on 6 September. NLB has partnered with CrowdTaskSG to reward Singaporeans for reading! In conjunction with the new ReadSG, a five-year national movement to encourage reading as a lifelong habit, NLB will gift readers virtual coins that can be redeemed for cash simply by reading at least 15 minutes a day. Every 1,000 virtual coins earned on CrowdTaskSG can be exchanged for $1 in cash.

How to start earning rewards on CrowdTaskSG

To participate in this national reading challenge, follow the 4 easy steps below:

• 1. Create an Account: Sign up on CrowdTaskSG using your Singpass login, locate the ReadSG Challenge and click on ‘Join Quest’ button
• 2. Find Your Reading Profile: Take the personality test to find out your reading profile and flavour to understand what book genres appeal to you
• 3. Set a Daily Target: Commit to at least 15 minutes of daily reading
• 4. Log Your Progress: Record your reading sessions on CrowdTaskSG. Click on ‘Daily Reading Log’ under task and earn rewards
