This book serves to support students in the learning of source-based case studies and structured essay skills; and preparing students for their examinations.

There are 3 units in this book. In Unit 1, the examination skills needed to tackle source-based and structured questions are explained in detail. Every student will need this in the examinations.

There are 5 chapters in Unit 2. Students will learn how to apply the above exam skills here.

The author has intended that skills and activities such as the mind maps and the cross-word puzzles further support students’ learning of all the 5 chapters.

The inquiry-based questions at the start of each chapter hope to inculcate in students an investigative and critical mindset.

In Unit 3, students can try out the revision exam papers. This should give them a better idea of the outcome after learning.
