Synopsis

Thinking, Fast and Slow explores how people think, decide, and judge in everyday life, revealing the hidden forces that shape our choices. Drawing on decades of research, the book explains how the mind operates using two systems: a fast, intuitive mode that works automatically, and a slower, more deliberate mode that requires effort and reasoning. Through engaging examples and real-world scenarios, it shows how cognitive biases, overconfidence, and mental shortcuts influence decisions in areas such as money, work, and personal judgment. Thought-provoking and insightful, the book encourages readers to better understand their own thinking and make more informed, reflective choices.
