Yamishibai: Japanese ghost stories (Known in Japan as 闇芝居 Yami Shibai, lit. Dark Play) is a 2013 Japanese anime TV series depicting horror stories told in the manner of the classic Kamishibai (Japanese street theatre) style. Centred around tales of Japanese myths and urban legends, the show has gone into its seventh season as of 2019. Horror Theatre Yamishibai is the Manga adaptation with art by Isao Sakamoto.
