About the Author
A recipient of the Singapore Airlines scholarship, Manisha
Nayak holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree
in Mass Communication from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has
been working in educational publishing for more than 20 years, with a focus on
writing, editing and managing the publication of children's science books and
magazines. She has written more than 30 children's books, including
co-authoring a bestseller science revision guide. Her book series I'm a
Future Scientist was a gold award recipient at the Mom's Choice Awards
2022. Manisha has been a panellist at the Singapore Writers Festival.
Manisha has conducted several teacher training workshops in
various countries. Other than authoring, Manisha also teaches Primary Science
at Nanyang Education, Singapore. Inspired by the inherent curiosity in
children, she finds meaning in demonstrating how science is all around us, and
how exciting it makes our lives.
