In Breaking Through, Ginny Foo shares her deeply
personal journey of resilience, courage, and transformation. From her humble
beginnings in Seremban, Malaysia, to Toronto, Hong Kong, Penang, Manila, and
Singapore, she recounts with honesty and grace the challenges of financial
uncertainty, heartbreaking betrayal, and boardroom drama. Through it all, she
discovered that even the hardest seasons can become stepping stones to growth
and renewal, ultimately leading her to the helm of Singapore's largest
diagnostics laboratory.
More than a memoir, this is a story about navigating power
imbalances, overcoming obstacles, and finding meaning in unexpected places. It
is a testament to the strength of belief — whether in God, or in the values
that shape us. As one reader reflected: Do the hard things; it makes life
easier. You don't need to share Ginny's faith to be moved by her story. Anyone
seeking inspiration, courage, and a life well-lived will find it here.
