About the Author

Craig Smith is a New Zealand children’s author, musician, and entertainer best known for creating The Wonky Donkeyseries. Originally written as a song, The Wonky Donkey became an international hit and later inspired several sequels, including The Grinny Granny Donkey. Smith is recognised for his energetic storytelling, catchy rhymes, and humorous writing style that appeals to both children and adults. He also received the 2008 APRA Children’s Song of the Year award for The Wonky Donkey.
