About the Author
Takuo Toda has dedicated his life to designing
innovative paper aircraft. His signature snub-nosed "Sky King" was
the Guinness World Record holder for many years. But on December 19, 2010, he
broke his own record for flight duration with his new "Zero Fighter"
design, which flew for 29.2 seconds.
Both of these planes are included in this book. Toda has
developed over 700 paper airplane designs and written over 30 books on the
subject. He is the chairman of the Japan Origami Airplanes Association.
