About the Author

Dr Dong Xiaoao is a paediatric trainee at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. She has a special passion for taking care of newborn babies and their families.

Dr Tan Pih Lin is a trained neonatologist at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, providing acute care for sick newborns and premature infants. She also manages the follow-up clinic for very low birth weight premature infants.
