Key Practice Guide GCE O-Level Science Biology – Revision Notes and Practice is written for students studying O-Level Biology. Students will find this book a good companion from the formative stage of their learning of O-Level Biology.

Each chapter begins with a list of learning outcomes expected of them in each topic of the syllabus. The questions are designed to evaluate students’ learning outcomes in the form of the Multiple-Choice questions (Section A) and Structured Questions (Section B). The questions are framed to test students’ basic recall of meaning of terms in Biology and understanding of concepts. Higher level skills such as application, analysis and synthesis are also required in some questions.

Students should try to answer the questions and compare their answers with the answers provided. If they are not able to answer correctly, they should get back to their notes (available in our Key Study Guides) and textbooks until they fully achieve the desired outcomes.

Two Mock Exams are provided so that students are exposed to the examination format, question styles and expectations in the learning of the subject.
