About the Author
Dr Josh Wee Chert Ng is a real estate educator
with over 15 years of teaching experience with the National University of
Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), the Singapore
University of Social Sciences (SUSS), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT),
Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), and Singapore
Polytechnic (SP). He holds a BSc in Building (2nd Upper Honours), an MSc in
Real Estate, a Doctor of Philosophy from the NUS, and a Master of Training and
Development from Griffith University.
He has also been a qualified trainer for the Real Estate Salesperson (RES)
course for the last 7 years, holding an Advanced Certificate in Training and
Assessment (ACTA), a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE), and a
Specialist Diploma in Applied Learning & Teaching. Josh also has 15 years
of experience in commercial real estate, asset management, and project
management, both in the public and private sectors.
Eugene Lim is the Key Executive Officer of ERA
Singapore. With over 35 years of experience in property development and real
estate agency, he is a highly respected opinion leader whom the media
frequently consults for his professional insights on the property market and
related issues. Eugene regularly appears on television and radio and is often
quoted in print and online media. A well-regarded leader in the real estate
sector, Eugene also serves as President of the Singapore Institute of Estate
Agents (2025–2027).
As Key Executive Officer, Eugene is responsible for the proper administration
and overall management of ERA's business, as well as supervising its Real
Estate Salespersons. He also serves as the estate agency's primary
representative when liaising with government ministries and statutory boards
such as the Ministry of National Development, Urban Redevelopment Authority,
Housing & Development Board, Singapore Land Authority, and the Singapore
Police Force.
