About the Author

Esther Siam is a children's book author and illustrator from Singapore who creates heartfelt stories that weave together science, food, cultural heritage and fantasy. A former physics teacher, she believes in teaching through visuals and stories, and would often illustrate lessons to help her students understand abstract concepts. This love for blending knowledge and creativity grew as she baked and crafted imaginative adventures with her two sons, who continue to inspire many of her stories.

She is passionate about making learning joyful and accessible for young readers. Through her writing and timeless watercolour illustrations, Esther hopes to spark wonder, encourage exploration and help children discover the beauty in small, ordinary moments.
