Retail

Defective goods may be exchanged in store for identical goods within 7 days of purchase upon presentation of our receipt. No exchange is given if defect or damage results from accident, misuse, neglect or normal wear and tear. All goods sold are non-refundable.

 

All offer items sold during promotion period are not exchangeable.

 

All deposits placed for confirmation of orders are non-refundable.

ONLINE

Eligible items may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt, provided they are in new/unused condition with the original price tag attached, and packaging is undamaged and sealed (for returns).

 

Items purchased on sale/promotion/clearance and selected Gadgets & IT products are not eligible for return. 

 

Please contact us at popularonlinechat@popularworld.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, pictures of the item received (including barcode), and the reason for return or exchange.

Returns

Methods

  1. Pick up from your address (arranged by POPULAR) at a charge of $10.00; OR 
  2. You may drop off the goods yourself at our return address during operating hours.
  • Returns Address: Popular Bookstore HQ (eCommerce), 15 Serangoon North Ave 5, Singapore 554360
  • Operating Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (excluding 12pm-1pm)

NOTE: We are unable to process any Returns or Exchanges for online purchases at our retail stores.

 

Refunds: Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method for the sales value of the returned item(s). Please note that the initial shipping charges are non-refundable, and PayNow refunds will have a $0.50 surcharge.

 

Delivery Fee: A $6.00 fee will be applied for returns of orders already dispatched to the courier.

Exchanges

Damaged/Defective item upon receiving

We will investigate the issue and, if determined to be our error, arrange for a replacement to be made with a 1-to-1 exchange at your address Please retain the original packaging, box, and receipt. Return shipping arrangements and costs will be covered by Popular.

 

Incorrect item upon receiving

We will verify the order and arrange for the correct item to be sent to you at a 1-to-1 exchange at your address.

 

Missing item upon receiving

If an item is missing from your order, please contact us at popularonlinechat@popularworld.com and provide photos of the packing materials and the items you received. We will investigate the issue and, if determined to be our error, send the missing item. 

Warranty Claims

For products that come with a warranty period, you may refer to your product user manual to locate the service center for repairs/replacements.
